Measurements and simulations with Scilab

Post by high voltage » Thu Jan 22, 2015 11:17 am

A interface to Scilab and XCOS would made the Red Pitaya to an universal measure and simulation tool with mathematic functionality. There is a very simple solution for Arduino but with RP it would be much better due to the higher sample rates and resolutions. It is also necessary to have some digital IOs with drivers to control external functions like multiplexers or relays. A higher resolution for the slow DAC would also be great. The additional hardware for that could be placed on a additional board. All in all it wold be a universal solution for research and education.
