Power comsumption on Zedboard.

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to measure power consumptin of a zed board thanks the 10m-ohm resitor on the main power line (connector J21).

Since I expect a consumption arround 6 W, I should have 500mA passing throug this resistor and I should measure a tension around 5mV.

However I measure 200mVwith the redpitaya? Does I have miss some calibration procedure or am I doing the measure wrongly?

My backgrounds in electronics and mesurements are very light and I'm sorry if my question is too naive!

Have good day.

What is the reading when you shortcircuit the Red Pitaya's measurement probe ?

If it's not very near 0, your calibration is probably off.

wrong gain on red pitaya (x32 dip switch at front)?
160mV = 32*5
