Hello All,
I have been messing around with the SCPI commands trying to get the DAC output to be feed into the ADC and plot it on the computer. however I have been getting a weird output for higher frequencies. This is the output at 10MHz that is a single 5 cycle burst. for some reason it repeats three times and the last one is more than 5 cycles.
I have checked the output into an oscilloscope and got the expected signal, and I used a wave form generator and plugged it into the adc input and got the expected signal. Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong when i connect dac to the adc? I Honestly have no idea/leads.
Thanks,
-Mohamed Lahlou

Re: SCPI Acquire Problem
Actually I found a solution to the problem.
rp_s.tx_txt('ACQ:START')
rp_s.tx_txt('ACQ:TRIG CH1_PE')
rp_s.tx_txt('SOUR1:TRIG:IMM')
need to be before
rp_s.tx_txt('OUTPUT1:STATE ON')
or it will produce that funky output.
