HV gain Setting

Hi,
In hardware I set HV gain. But in software point of view I do not know how to set HV.
I just tried c Example

Here Amplitude is 1.0 v and I am getting the values in terminal -0.2 v to +0.2 v.

I changed parameter of
rp_GenAmp(RP_CH_1, 1.0)
with different values.
So when I tried with 0.4 then value comes between (-0.08 to +0.08)=(0.4/0.08=5)
With 1 it gives (-0.2 to +0.2)=(1/0.2=5)
With 0.7 it gives (-0.14 to +0.14)=(0.7/0.14=5)

So these all situations reading is looking like LV gain.
How can I get real value.

when you set the input jumpers to HV the RP api must be informed of this by calling
