Trigger level

Post by manu » Thu Jun 22, 2017 9:47 am

Hello all,

I have RP 125/14 with software release 0.96 build 76. I am using the scope FPGA application but accessing the data through the SCPI server.
My input voltage is around 3/4 volts and therefore, the jumper is set to "high voltage".
I try to understand how the trigger level setting is working. I have found in a first documentation that the SCPI command
ACQ:TRIG:LEV takes a parameter in volt but in other doc it is written that the parameter is mV (milli volt).
My first question is: What is the unit of this parameter ?

Furthermore, assuming that the unit is V, I sent a value greater than 1 and the RP answered ERR!. It does not accept a value greater than 1.
It looks to me that this parameter is in fact a % but of what?
My second question is: What is exactly this trigger level command parameter ?

Thank's in advance for your answers and have a nice day

Manu
