How to start SCPI server at power up

Post by kp358@cam.ac.uk » Wed Jul 12, 2017 4:45 pm

Hi All,

I have integrated the RP into an application and have one step to complete it. For various reasons, I need the RP to start the SCPI server automatically, without me having to go to /rpxxxxx.local/scpi_manager and clicking the run button.

So basically, as soon as the RP is powered up, the SCPI server starts and is ready to receive commands.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

K.

Hi,

Here are the commands that will enable running SCPI service at boot time and disable Nginx service.

systemctl disable redpitaya_nginx
systemctl enable redpitaya_scpi

For more details please take a look at this two links link 1 and link 2 in paragraph 3.2.4.3.1. Systemd.

kind regards redpitaya team
