122-16 artifacts

Post by k9gasman » Tue Apr 23, 2024 10:31 pm

Does the 122-16 have any filtering at all, or does it need passband filters in front of it?
I don't wish to put large picture files here, so here is some dropbox file links for some screen snapshots I took of 15m and 10m. I have a Hermes Lite and TRX-Duo, neither of these have this issue.
Thanks for advice and help.

I figured it out. There is none, this device needs passband filtering in front of it.

I will keep the thread here for other users to reference in the future :).

As you already figured out, there is no filtering stage for the SDRlab. The front-end just matches the impedance and applies AC coupling: https://redpitaya.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... schematics
