Zynq from Scratch: Boot

Post by noah » Wed Jul 08, 2015 5:29 pm

Hi guys

I was planning to use the redpitaya for a "Zynq from Scratch" plattform using this guide: zynqfromscratch.com

After some reading the problem occured: How is the boot mode set on the redpitaya? On the ZedBoard one can change it using jumpers. Hence the Redpitaya has no such bootjumpers I guess it is hard set to either SD Card or QSPI. Has anybody dealed with that before? I want to use JTAG.

Cheers,
Noah

Again the schematics would be _reeaaallly_ helpful here @redpitaya :?:

So i got hold of a jtag probe (the HS2 from Digilent bought from farnell. correct pinout and fits perfectly!).

With no SD inserted I can now follow the tutorials on zynqfromscratch.com :)

So contact me, if you have any troubles.

Cheers,
Noah

Hey, good to know - I wasn't sure whether boot from jtag was supported or not.

Thanks for finding out ;O)
