I will soon update the download links with version that work on the current ecosystem.

The available components are working as advertised, and I might incorporate new features if there is demand.

Other than that I don't plan to do much further development, because in the meantime similar functions have been introduced into the standard Red Pitaya software.

Is it now possible to record continuous data from the high speed ADCs with Red Pitaya OS 0.95?

With 0.95 out of the box: no, there's a little bug in the bitstream that renders the AXI transmission invalid. Here is a replacement bitstream which remedies that.

It's made from the regular 0.95 sources with these changes (which were dropped when the branch release-v0.95 was created) applied.

Hi Nils,

Hope this hasn't been asked/answered a million times before, but when can we expect continuous recording in the master branch of the OS?
I am very happily using the setup described through this thread, but would like to move to the latest version of the OS if possible.

Kind Regards
Darryn

In addition to Darryn, can we not work together with a few people to get it in there for example using SCPI commands? Petition the Red Pitaya project to make it a priority (in trade to some application blog posts which inspire people to buy one)? Or maybe we can crowd fund Nils?

Hi,

it's nice to hear that folks are still using this project to good effect!
Right now I am absolutely swamped by my day job, and will be for two more weeks, but after that I'll give scpi integration some serious thoughts. There have also been some hints from the Red Pitaya team that they want to integrate continuous recording into the official releases. No promises when that might happen, though.
Cya,
Nils
