Adc input values (newbie doubt)

Hello all
I intend on using red pitaya for a college project.
I dont want to use the default fpga bitstream and will make my own.
I intend to use the 14 bit adc in in LV setting(+/-1V).
Being a newbie, i had a doubt weather by default,
1V=16383 and -1V=0 or
1V=8191 and -1V=-8192
Please Clarify
