Hello,
I do know how a lock-in-amp and analyzing system works. But I want to know if there is something written of how to connect and use the RP with lock-in app. The video clips on YouTube are not very clear to understand.
Thank you.
Best regards
Dieter

Hello Dieter,
Have you checked Linien?
https://github.com/linien-org/linien
Other options for older OS include:
- PyRPL - https://pyrpl.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
- LOCK-IN+PID application by Marcelo Luda - https://marceluda.github.io/rp_lock-in_pid/

Re: Basics for Lock-in
Hello RP,
I tested "Linien", but not successful. After a long process of installing a "server" I started the windows applet, but neither local ID nor IP address leads to a connection.
The PYRPL -- I started this too, but it was not able to find my RP.
The marceluda I saw first, also the video on YouTube. To be honest: I cannot follow up to his explanantions.
My intention is very simple: I want to connect a weak signal into f.i. input1 and I know which frequency it should be. It is for receiving VLF and later on for NMR detection. So I just need to multiply my extern signal with a (internal or external) reference signal with a defined frequency.
But the apps "Lock-In & PID", sorry to say, I don't know where I have to go with this. Is there anywhere a very basic setting for a simple application?
Best regards
Dieter

Re: Basics for Lock-in
The error message is always:
Unable to connect to device. If you are connecting by hostname (i.e. 'rp-xxxx.local', try using IP address instead.
I tried every constellation, but the error is persistent.
Best regards
Dieter
