Hallo Nils
Actually I'm working in Acces Point mode with my RP, I've noticed that even if the Edimax wifi dongle can connect up to a speed of 150Mb/s
unfortunately thanks the internal configuration parameters of the RP driver settings,
I can connect to the RP only at 54Mb/s
I copy hereafter RP driver settings:
interface = wlan0
ssid = Red Pitaya AP
driver = rtl871xdrv
hw_mode = g
channel = 6
macaddr_acl = 0
auth_algs = 1
ignore_broadcast_ssid = 0
wpa = 2
wpa_passphrase = redpitaya
wpa_key_mgmt = WPA-PSK
wpa_pairwise = TKIP
rsn_pairwise = CCMP
My question is.... Is it possible to modify this parameters in order to give the RP the possibility to take full advantage of the 150Mb/s transmitting speed of its wifi dongle ?
For example..(I guess)... simply modifying the hw_mode = g in hw_mode = n?
Or let me know what I have to do to be able to connect at the highest speed of 150Mb/s?
Thanks

My guess would have been the hw_mode as well, 802.11g does 54Mbps tops. But I'm not the guy to ask about wireless network configuration.
Anybody else ?

Hi Nils
I've found those guys that seems to have had the same problem
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 6&p=508835
in their raspberrypi that use the same driver and the same wifi dongle
It seems the problem is the WPA settings
Can You tell me how can I delete the WPA configuration?
...
Even if those other guys seems to have made to connect @150Mbs using WPA 2
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2244 ... ax-ew7811u
but in client mode ...not in access point mode like I need
Can You give me some hints ...or Pavel probably can?
Thanks so much
