Red Pitaya DDR3 Memory Clock Speed and Bandwidth Configuration

Dear all,
I was wondering why the MT41J256M16HA-125:E memory in red pitaya is configured at 1066 mhz instead of the higher througput mode 1600 which this part and Zynq 7010 seem to support? For my application, I need approximately 2.5GB/s so the increase in bandwidth would be welcomed.
