Impedance analyzer extension board

Hi
I saw that in the shop.
Any documentation on it?
In actual fact, from just looking at it it looks quite simple.
A spi or i2c chip to parallel in order to drive a number of relais.
Each relay introduces a resistor in the circuit in order to best adjust the impedance meter domain.
It is a very simple circuit to replicate even on a multi-hole pcb.
The only question I have is if the open-source impedance meter software directly supports this extension
or if a special version is needed.

and my question is, why it's so expensive compared to the RP itself?

On the other hand, the additional question is, what's really included in the package?

Product descripition says:

In the package you will recieve:
- extension board
- flat cable - for connection to Red Pitaya
- SMA cables for connectiong signal lines to Red Pitaya
- BNC Probe for connecting your device under test (DUT)

The first three bullet points are clear, but the pictures for the BNC probe are showing additional components.

There are two (four) BNC cables with two clamps. And there is a box from quadtech.
Are all these components included in the package?

Hi guys,

The LCR extension board is currently under some minor redesigning and it will be available in month or two.
BNC Cables from the picture on web store are Kelvin connectors.

If the "Kelvin connectors" are included in the package, it is a reasonable price.
Are you able to confirm this?

Yes, Kelvin connectors are included.
Notice that cable expander from the LAST(most right one) picture
on the store: http://store.redpitaya.com/red-pitaya-shield-22.html
is not included.

Such Price of the board is mainly because of components price.
Also, shunt resistors are high f. and accuracy.

I preordered one on 30.11.2015 while the store states "Will be available in 30 days".
In the meantime the store states "In stock" and reverted to "Will be available in 30 days".
On elektor.de delivery window is March 2016.

So: What is your release schedule?

OK, I got it delivered today.
Could someone from redpitaya point me to some documentation or tutorial?
I don't want to brick it the first day.
What I figured out is to connect the ribbon cable to E2 connector.
Where the SMA cables have to be connected is clear.
The question is, if the inputs jumpers should be set to HV or LV?

Edit:

But how does it complies to the faq article "How can I change gain settings for input channels?", where only HV and LV is allowed?

OK, so I got the board hooked up, now which application should I use to perform the measurement? Is there a configuration somewhere to tell the LCR meter that the board is present?
