i would realize a n instruments that can help my brother in his job (liutaio). he have to measure the thichkness of wood also when the violins or liuthe or cello or guitar without open the musical instruments. i saw on the web that it can be done utilizing a magnetic probe with inside a hall effect sensor with ratiometric output (not switch) and a magnet.
we know that the magnetic field is inversament proportional to the square of distance ....
in the next days i will work about this project.
