Hello,

If you develop a "multipurpose" device it need to be 100% multipurpose!

I think that it schould have a microswitch that allow me to decide which I/O port assign to make.
In this way with the same device I can have up do 4 HF Input or up to 4 HF Output.

Please. Are only 4 switch and 4 kernel Image to dynamic install with drag & Drop application.

This can be serious OK.
The cost is only 1€.

Ciao!
Carmine

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions.
This is great idea and certainly useful and we will have it in mind.
The cost is probably little higher do to new board design and new ADC & DAC.
If you want to have 4 independent HF output or input that means that you must have 4 ADC-s and 4 DAC-s. Current board has 2 ADC-s and 2 DAC-s.
The price of 14 bit 125 MHz ADC & DAC is not so low.

Regards

Sure,
and my intention is not to enter in your choices.

But if I'm a company that develop solutions "all in one" i can choose to spend money for only 2 more ADC and only 2 more DAC and a double buffer memory in order to have reausable software and hardware and a big amount of quick solutions.

The alternative should be buy 2 red Pitaya, at this point I schould develop Harware and software in order to synchronize devices, channels, resources with the risk to lose important informations, investing a long time of debug with a "non professional" output.

Thank you for your work and... we'll stay tuned.
