Signal measurements using scpi/python

Hello all,

I would like to be able to measure signal properties (like ones display in cal applications: period, duty, pp...) from scpi remote interface.

Do these infos are provided by stemlab already? If so,what api should I use.
If not, I might use additional pc library to compute raw received value on my computer. I am using python as preferred interface, do you have python lib to advise ?
