Hello all,
besides Matlab we have Octave, which is available for free. With
pkg load instrument-control;
the right library is loaded and most commands require only slight modification.
I like most on Matlab and Octave that the handling of big arrays is quite simple, so I got some waveform generator and oscilloscope example transferred to Octave quite easily.
Is there some other experience with that in the community ?

Only in oscilloscope web app, not available through SCPI.
Also, please try our latest streaming app from the latest beta release. I think it will be easier for you.
You can find the OS img file here: https://redpitaya.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... re-sd-card
And the documentation for it https://redpitaya.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... #streaming.
