Pointing to input channels 1-4 on 125-14 4-input

Post by earlforeal » Tue Jun 06, 2023 4:55 pm

I have a signal acquisition program written in C that utilizes the fpga_osc.h library to acquire signals from channel A and channel B on the 125-14 (2-channel input).
I recently got the 4-channel 125-14 and the program works just as it does on the 2-channel input 125-14. My question is, how do you point to the other two inputs "channel C" and "channel D" using this library? Or is a new library necessary? In the library there are only references to "channel A" and "channel B."

Hello earlforeal,

The 4-Input version uses the address space of the signal generator for the other two inputs.
Theoretically, you could get away by just specifying the offsets for channels C and D:

Here is the oscilloscope.h form our GitHub (has functions for interfacing with the 4-Input):

(look one folder up for oscilloscope.c)
