Problem with importing rp

Post by fpga.master » Fri Nov 29, 2024 3:21 pm

Hey everyone,

I followed the instructions on the RedPitaya website for fixing "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘rp’ ". As described on the website I first established an SSH connection as usually and then edited the .bashrc file (using 'nano .bashrc') by adding the lines

PYTHONPATH=/opt/redpitaya/lib/python/:$PYTHONPATH
export PYTHONPATH

to the end of the file. Then I restarted my RedPitaya. However, the same error still pops up.
I even checked that the edits to .bashrc where saved and whether rp.py is located in /opt/redpitaya/lib/python. I honestly have no idea how to fix this issure.

Dear fpga.master,

Which Red Pitaya OS version are you using? OS versions below 2.00-23 do not have Python installed on the board.

Also, please check whether the shebang line is present at the start of the python file:

Code: Select all

#!/usr/bin/python3
