Hi all,
just got my Red Pitaya yesterday and am new to programming, so please forgive the noob question.
I want to generate a sinewave pulse with a given duration. The available software only allows for a continuous wave, so I was thinking of making a program using the visual programming platform to start with. I don't see any blocks for the main input and output used for scope and signal generation. Is this possible to do? Or do I have to go with python?
Thanks!

Re: Generate signal with visual programming
Hi,
Unfortunately Visual P. environment don't have build in controls for
fast analog outputs and inputs.
You can use SCPI commands (Matlab, Labview, SciLab, Python)
or API-s ( C )
