External trigger not firing for fast acquisition

Post by djsw » Wed Apr 13, 2016 7:16 am

The fast acquisition hates me, it seems.

I'm trying to get the RP_TRIG_SRC_EXT_NE to work, but the state isn't changing. I've got the trigger electrically connected to another GPIO trigger (i.e., DIO3_N and DIO0_P are connected with a wire), which holds the pin high for 10ms. I've checked using the slow analogue input and this behaviour is occurring, so the trigger pin is being set correctly. I've also set the trigger source to RP_TRIG_SRC_NOW and rp_AcqGetTriggerState returns correctly, so it's not an issue in the setup of the code. Is there some configuration I need to get right for this pin, or is there a change in the API with 0.94?

(This is a fairly basic problem, but the search function of the forums refuses to accept "external trigger acquisition" as a search term.)

Cheers
