Vivado 2014.4 compatible?

Because of FPGA programming, I should install Vivado on the Linux system. But, only the version of vivado 2014.4 is available. Could it be compatible with the open source FPGA files and used in RP FPGA programming? Thank you very much!

What do you mean by "available"? can you not download latest version straight from Xilinx?

Thanks for your fast response. I can download the latest version of Vivado but without any liscense.

By the way, I am going to develop the RP to continuously store the data from ADC to memory (with a high-speed module) or using the DMA way. Similar with the following topics:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=56

I am not sure whether Vivado 2014.4 to program and compile the FPGA files provided in above topics.

Hi,

License is not needed, as our chip (Zynq 7100 series) is on the free dev tool list,

License is only needed for the old spartan, virtex chips, and some more advanced IP blocks that we don't use anyway.

so, just install and ignore license request, it will work no problem.
