Difference Between the FPGA classic, logic and logic_orig

Post by mlahlou » Thu Sep 29, 2016 5:53 pm

Hello All,

I just wanted to ask what were the differences between the FPGA projects that exist in the projects folder and could you recommend which one I should focus on to learn how the ADC and the DAC data is currently being captured and generated respectively. Thank you. :D

Hi,

the project "logic_orig" is the bitstream with support for the logic analyzer but I am not sure whether or not the implementations for the other peripherals like ADC and DAC are working.

The project "classic" is the bitstream that is required to work with the scpi-server and the RP api. For now, this is where you should look at regarding use of ADC and DAC.

The other projects are experimental, as far as I can tell.
