Hi Jim - if you have time could you elaborate on the last paragraph? i.e. how to set up for the faster acquisition? I haven't done something like that with the rp before... thanks in advance

I had the same problem when I was reading the full buffer, what I did to speed up the process was to run the signal processing in the microprocessor from RedPitaya and send just a few data through that way I did not have to send a full buffer which takes a lot of time (you are right).
Hi! Any news here? Seems to be that the issue was not resolved since then. Do we have alternative solutions?

There has been a few inquiries on this.
It has been over a year since I have updated my ecosystem.
So there is a possibility that the code changes in the parser.c that
I posted a few post back do not use those functions any more,
but I really do not know.

To install the changed in the parser.c file you need to rebuild the ecosystem.
Rebuilding the ecosystem is not that quick or easy, and not something I could explain
in a post. Here is a link on building the ecosystem:
https://redpitaya.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... ystem.html

The change does work, I just tested it a few weeks ago. Also this is only for reading in binary,
not for reading in ASCII, over SCPI.

Thanks,
Jim
