Hi,
I am not able to run the Bode analyser and DFT Spectrum Analyser apps on the 0.98 OS.
I am able to view the pages of both these apps, but they do not connect and execute.

I am able to use the Oscilloscope & Sig Gen app just fine.

What could I be doing wrong ? I am connecting using a static IP address.

Thanks.

I don't think that static IP should be a problem as you can connect to the RP.

Perhaps does two pages are stored in your browser history cache, you can try to force refresh dose two pages (apps).

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Refreshing browser or clearing cache does not change the behaviour.
I am able to run other apps, but the Bode analyser and DFT Spectrum Analyser apps on the 0.98-617/STEM10 will not run...the spinner just keeps turning while the page is displayed

Can someone confirm that these apps work for them on this OS ?

Im running Firefox on Linux.....and other apps work fine. :?
Maybe its a browser compatability issue ? but why only for these apps ?

OK, here is an update.

When I connect to the RP with the latest Chrome on Windows it works fine.
So I guess its a compatibility issue with the version of Firefox I am running on Linux.

I see no real reason for your problem it could be that some part of the SD cart is corrupted, you could try to rewrite the SD card as described here.

It may also be beneficial if you take a new SD card.

after further investigation what I find is:

Firefox 42 on Linux Mint 32 bit does not render the 2 apps I mentioned.
Neither does old versions of Opera or Chrome/Chromium.
Chrome 32 bit is discontinued.

So some of the apps require a very recent version of browser....and this seems to only be available in 64 bit.

Has anyone found a 32 bit browser which will render these apps ?
Otherwise I may need to switch to 64 bit Linux..and then load Chrome or a more recent Firefox/Opera etc.

Regards.
