Hi
I am new to red pitaya community, and I came to know about it from a friend. I am planning to use red pitaya for an application like laser locking and stabilization. Is there some good literature which can act as a starting point for me. Any help is appreciated.
I am also looking for some quick ways for understanding the functioning of red pitaya. :D

Hello akhil,

Welcome to the Red Pitaya community.

I've heard about PyRPL (https://pyrpl.readthedocs.io/en/latest/), but never used it.

Also, I worked on a project made by jddes for an application to lock optical frequency combs and other laser application, available here : https://github.com/jddes/Frequency-comb-DPLL. Here is a free version of an article we wrote about it (it's the same than the version Review of Scientific Instruments, but without the fees): https://arxiv.org/abs/1804.01028. Another good paper is Laura's : Invited Article: A compact optically coherent fiber frequency comb
. There is a description of a very similar FPGA platform and explication about laser locking. I'm not an author so I don't have the pdf, but I think if you google the title, you can find a free pdf.

Good luck with your projects

Alex

Also make sure to check out Koheron's product line regarding Red Pitaya addons.
