Vivado version for FPGA programming

Hi.

I decided to start FPGA programming to acquire data at high speed.
I'm currently building a development environment, and what I'm curious about is: which version of Vivado should I choose?
Personally found documents suggest using version 2017.2, while official Red Pitaya recommends using Vivado 2020.

If only SDK is included, is it okay to install anything?

Any Vivado version should be OK. Since I started working with Red Pitaya, I used several Vivado/Vitis versions between 2015.1 and 2020.2 and they all worked well.

You can find my description of the installation of the development machine and the development chain at the following links:

Thanks to your answers, I was able to get to work.

And... Can I ask you one more question?
I currently installed the 2017 version on Linux.
I also want to use the 2020 version, is it okay to install Vivado on Windows?
