Comprehensive C API documentation

Hello everybody!
I've just gotten into contact with the RedPitaya through work as a means to quickly acquire accelerometer data. I have prior experience with µCs but need more power for this project. However, FPGA programming with Verilog is a lot to learn and therefore I want to get my project running using the C API.
I experimented with it a little bit and played around with the examples provided on GitHub, however, it's very cumbersome to research certain questions about the C implementation and that is why I'm asking if there is a comprehensive C API documentation that one can just look up all the Pitaya's specific commands. That would help me out a great deal.
