Record at frequency range at low sample rate

Hi All,

I'm trying to write some code that will record anything in a small frequency range (eg 9.5-10.5MHz) and store it in a file.
This doesn't need to be done at any high speed, 48 or 96ksps would be sufficient.
However, everything I've come across only looks at recording the entire spectrum.

I've looked at some of the SDR Transceiver stuff and haven't had any success, but also, I would prefer to have some code that I can run when required.

Any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
