include files?

Post by john k2ox » Tue Oct 28, 2014 5:35 am

Eclipse (and I) can't find these include files:

#include <stdio.h>
#include <math.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <string.h>

These header files are part of the compiler / toolchain. That they can't be found indicates that either you did not configure the correct toolchain, or that your eclipse can't identify the toolchain.

I can't give you instructions on how to setup properly, I don't use linaro, but there should be a plethora of guides how to do that.

Alternatively, use the Xilinx SDK, which has its own toolchain and configuration templates that work out of the box.

I did a search on my PC and found the location of the standard include files and added their locations to the project file.

Still there are missing references: M_PI, NULL, stderr, int32_t.

I've searched my C: drive and the RP repo and there are no where to be found. Or at least I can't find them.

Please help.

Regards,
John

Those symbols are normally provided by stddef.h (at least NULL is).
That this is not in your standard include path indicates something is wrong with your setup.

As I said before, try the Xilinx SDK, or bing/google for guides about linaro.
