Software trigger
Hi everyone,
Today, I wanted to implement a new functionality on my RP, I wanted to save into memory the value of a timer with the FPGA when a trigger happens.
Unfortunately, I don't know how the FPGA part knows when a trigger happens. I saw into the scope part (in the vivado project) a value adc_trig. Is it the one I have to use to check if a trigger happens ?
Thank you in advance.
Regards.
Kevin.

Re: Software trigger
Hi Kevin,
The adc_trig register is indeed the one that is set when the trigger condition is met. It will remain 1 for one adc_clk_i cycle.
Cheers, Nils

Re: Software trigger
Sure, you just need to make sure that the led_o[x] line in question is only connected to one module at a time.
