Help with I2C bus

Post by esmeise8 » Fri Mar 20, 2015 10:45 pm

Hi

I would like to know what is the I2C adress in order to use the function : rp_I2cRead (int addr, char *data, int length) and rp_I2cWrite (int addr, char *data, int length) ?

Thanks for your help !

That depends on which device you want to address. The on-board EEPROMs for example have 0x50 and 0x51.

I2C devices usually provide a way to assign one from a range of addresses or have a fixed one. Consult the device's datasheet for details.
