SCPI connection problem

Hello all,

We are building an NMR console using python language and the Red Pitaya's SCPI, however we have some problems with Red Pitaya's connection. Even when trying your python example, this error pops up:

error: [Errno 10054] An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

What we can see on Putty is: "Receive message failed: Connection reset by peer"

Has anyone face the same problem or does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi

Have you start scpi server on RP?

If not, when you connect RP go to terminal and start scpi server with command

scpi-server &

then run the code in python.

Don't forget to use right IP.
