Hello,
on the RP I've started the SCPI-Server with" scpi_server &"
Then I start a telnet session on the RP:
redpitaya> telnet 192.168.0.8 5000
*IDN?
REDPITAYA, INSTR2014, 0, 01-02
OK, this works.
Now I'am sending the the following commands:
SOUR1:FUNC SINE
SOUR1:FREQ:FIX 20000000
SOUR1:VOLT 1
OUTPUT1:STATE ON
But nothing happens (No errors and no signal on Output1).
What am I doing wrong?
Alex

Hey, what does you log tell you? Try using tail -f /tmp/log/messages or tail -f /var/log/messages

Re: Simple SCPI Problem
Have you added the delimiter at the end of each sent string?
e.g.
s.send('SOUR1:FUNC SINE\r\n')
e.g.
s.send('SOUR1:FUNC SINE\r\n')
