Static IP problem using a router

Post by Simonx » Mon Jul 20, 2015 2:05 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create a network composed of several RPs.
I'm using this router : http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/ ... R841N.html
And (for now) two RPs.
My problem is that I'm unable to force a static address on any device.

In interfaces file, I wrote that I'd like one RP to be 192.168.1.15 and the other one be 192.168.1.16. It works just fine when I connect my RPs via an Ethernet cable, but what I'm trying to do is connect them via WiFi to my router... and there IP adresses are looking like 192.168.0.101 and 192.168.0.102.
How can I solve that?

I can attach my wpa_supplicant.conf and interfaces file if needed.

Thank you a lot!
Simon
