“The Zynq Book” a good start, or something more recent advised?

http://www.zynqbook.com/

Would this be a good way to start understanding our FPGA platform? My goal is to start doing some “high” rate DSP (75MHz).

It is 6+ year for the (free) book old? Firstly, is that an issue, and secondly, any better starts?

Thanks!

I'm starting to learn the FPGA side of things myself. I'm learning as an amateur radio operator, so someone learning for professional or academic reasons may have more time pressures than I do.

The team who wrote The Zynq Book are University of Strathclyde StrathSDR. They have a current website if you're interested in SDR applications. I've not managed to learn enough to keep up with their latest 5G research yet, but maybe after I've done all the lessons in the Red Pitaya Knowledge Base I maybe able to. They have more recent learning materials, but I don't think I'm ready for them yet.

I've been finding the Red Pitaya Knowledge Base good for learning.
I think FPGA lessons 4 and 5 originally by Anton Potočnik are where I'm enjoying spending time at the moment.
