new Applications
Hello,
is it true, when i have no Facebook account, I must pay for the new Applications ?
I have no Account at Facebook, and I do not want to have one!
I can not beleave that.
I am very angry.

Re: new Applications
I think this is just true for some of the "pro"-apps.
Anyway, I'm feeling the same about this strategy.

Re: new Applications
Hi,
is it possible to run the pro apps (Scopegenpro and spectrumpro) with OS 0.93 or are this apps only available for OS higher than OS 0.93?
Thanks

Re: new Applications
The pro-apps were introduced with 0.94 and as fas as I know there is no backport to older versions available. Also, they depend on functionality that didn't exist in older releases.

Re: new Applications
Every time I start the pro app (scopegenpro) he is writing values in the register 0x40200004 and 0x40200024. This Registers are necessary for the generator function of this app but I don't like to use this function. So it is possible to disable the write prozess in this registers?

Re: new Applications
No, you can't make scopegenpro not access the generator.

Re: new Applications
That's a pity!
OK another question.
The calibration of the input offset is done with the calib tool for the free apps. For the pro apps, the values I read with calib -rv are not longer necessary?

Re: new Applications
Sorry, I don't know anything about the internal workings of the PRO apps.
(To be honest, the thing with the generator was more of an educated guess than absolute certainty, based on the available mechanisms for FPGA configuration of the Bazaar.)

Re: new Applications
Hi,
I think there are two bugs in the pro oscilloscope app.
1.
The calibration value for input offset is not the same if the calibration is done with the "calib" tool and with the pro app. If I calibrate the input offset with the "calib" tool I calculate a value of -150. Is the calibration is done with the app and I read the new value with "calib -rv" the value is +150. The offset in the pro app is show correctly but not any longer in other apps. If the calibration is done with the "calib" tool the offset in the pro app is wrong but correctly in other apps.
2.
After the "AUTO SCALE" button in the pro oscilloscope app is pressed it is not possible to change the vertical resolution (V/div).
Can anybody test if the same issue occurs on other RP?
Thanks
