-iwconfig wlan0- doesn't exist??!!

Hi Nils.
I tried to run the command
-iwconfig wlan0
from command line
but it say it is not a command availale???!!!
How can I do?
Where I'm wrong?

I don't know much about configuring wireless networks in linux, so my answer is: huh ?

iwconfig is deprecated and it's strongly recommended to switch to iw.

You can find iw commands corresponding to iwconfig ones at:

It's possible to install iwconfig with the following command:
