Playing with FFT on red pitaya

Post by jm » Thu Mar 03, 2016 10:43 am

Hello :)

I want to play around with Fourier transforming sections (of length N) of streaming input data (that is simulated, not acquired through RF inputs). To add to that I need to buffer a few sections of length N before the FFT process.

Can you suggest some tutorials on this? Or some Hints?

Thank you

For internal buffers, I recommend the Block Memory Generator IP (pdf), or instantiate one of the BRAM macros in Verilog code.
