Development holdup OS updates.

Occasionally, without warning, the ability to use the system freezes. After I do some constructive puttering, I find I need to upgrade to the latest OS version. Is there a way I can be notified of this? :?:

Are you saying that the Red Pitaya freezes when an update is available?

Or did your Red Pitaya crash occasionally and you found out that updating to a new OS release helped?

Sometimes new releases are advertised on the Red Pitaya newsletter (subscription on the Red Pitaya homepage). I don't know of any other channel.
