Questions about sample speed and use of two boards in parallel.

Hi!
I am currently developing a data acquisition system to study ultrasounds and the Red Pitaya hardware looks like an interesting choice, but I have a few questions about it:
-Can it really have a continuous sampling speed of 125 MS/s or there is a stop after the buffer is filled? In the case of the non-continuous acquisition: how fast can it sample if I want (hypothetically) to take measurements during 30-60 seconds without losing data?
-I also need to take measurements from 4 channels, since each board only has 2 input channels, would it be possible to use two of them in parallel connected to the same computer via labview?
Best regards.
Andrew.
