My new unit typically fails the first time it is powered up. It goes through the standard start-up sequence, including the flashing red "heartbeat" indicator, followed by a 1/2-second illumination of the 4th (yellow) LED. After that the heartbeat stops. Typically, if I disconnect and reconnect the power one or more times, I can get it to keep running, and it then appears to work normally.
I am using the Stemlab with Pavel Demin's latest HPSDR compatible 8-band receiver, and aside from this quirk it works well. Any advice?
