Direct Ethernet Connection to Red-Pitaya 125-14

Hello,

Recently I bought a Red-Pitaya 125-14 and I can not connect to it via direct ethernet connection. Since I am working in a university, direct connection is preferred. I have followed the instruction in the website, but it does not work. When I look into the the 4 GB SD card, I see some files which should be the OS for the red-pitaya but trying to connect via web browser does not work.
Anyone had the same issue?

Hi, thank you for posting.
The direct connection is not the most trouble free to start. This is 99% because of the operating system on the computer not allocating an IP address by default to a connecting device.

If you are a Windows user make sure you have installed Bonjour Print Services.

If this is not a personal computer I recommend you ask for help from local IT team or network administrators. This can also happen as result of a security measure that was implemented by them.
