Ping to RP via direct LAN

Hello,
does anybody got some experience of pinging by windows cmd? I want to qualify RP's connection to a PC. Connection is done by a LAN cable directly, the connection works, but when I apply a ping with the choosen IP 192.168.0.15 , then I get messages that target is not accessible. I hope somebody can help. Thank you.

Hi Dieter,
It works for me when I use "ping" followed by IP address in windows cmd, with the host IP set statically.
I use v0.95, my RP IP is set to 192.168.1.100, and my PC (static) IP is set to 192.168.1.101

C:\Users\Dieter>ping 192.168.1.100
Ping wird ausgeführt für 192.168.1.100 mit 32 Bytes Daten:

I took the same IPs like you, other than it was before. It took some time to setup the IP for the LAN, but finally it worked. The background is an EMC project for a different device than RP, but RP is my first probe to test the pinging generally.
