Access to folder

Hello, I've been trying to update the file on my Red Pitaya from my PC for a few days now. But somehow it does not want to work.
My algorithm keeps changing to perform different measurements. I run the code using Midnight Commander (MC) on my Red Pitaya. I want that when I make changes in the code on my PC, that the file on the Red Pitaya is automatically updated as well and I don't always have to make a copy using MC.
This all worked fine before, but I had to completely reinstall my computer and unfortunately I don't remember how I did it back then for it to work.
The shell link in the MC establishes a connection between my PC and the Red Pitaya but the folders are not updated.
Does anyone have a tip for me?
So my goal is that I work on my PC and the files are automatically updated on the Red Pitaya without me having to open the MC on the Red Pitaya.
