WiFi not connecting anymore

Hello,
since a longer period (some years) I wanted to connect my RP again, but I can't get any connection via WiFi.
I have to say, I got a new Fritzbox one year ago. So I updated the wpa_supplicant.conf file with the psk and ssid. But nevertheless there is no connection and always timeout message after several seconds.
The blue LED on the WiFi adapter is on, the same on the left side of the RP, blue and green LED are both on, red LED is blinking.

What else can be done?

Please try updating the OS to the latest BETA or STABLE version:

For the Wi-fi connection, you need a compatible Wi-fi dongle. We recommend getting the one from our online store. The other compatible dongles are here:
