Powering off

Hello
When I want to power off my redpitaya, I use the poweroff command over ssh if my card is connected to the network.
However when my card is not connected to the network, I directly remove the power cable.
There is no hints in the user manual about power off.
My question is : is there any risk of damaging the sd card without calling poweroff or shutdown ?

Hej Cédric,
when red Pitaya is strted, the images and other data loads to internal memmory aka "ramdisk", more info can be found on the official wiki page: http://wiki.redpitaya.com/index.php?tit ... _structure.
The microSD card is therefore used only for reading. Therefore it is not damaging to the micro SD card if you unplug the power suply without powering it off in terminal.
I'm working like this and there haven't been any problems with microSD card.
