Low frequency performance?

Post by arash2007 » Thu May 21, 2015 5:01 pm

As you are well aware most newly designed dynamic spectrum analyzers are aimed at RF application as a result we are still stuck with a 1980's HP DSA which goes down to 67 micro Hz in log sweep mode for our low freq measurements. I was wondering how well the Red Pitaya's hardware performs in sub Hertz range? and whether it is possible to do log sweep or log resolution measurement for frequency response or power spectral density (PSD) measurments? A noise figure in volts/rt(Hz) would also be beneficial. (we are looking for device that goes down to 0.1 Hz at least). Many Thanks
