How are you supposed to get help?

I can't get my Red Pitaya to load any applications from the Bazaar although I followed the intructions in the user manual very carefully.

I posted some logs and error messages here but my post has been deleted. I'm still having problems and I can't find any relevant solutions in the user manual or searching the forum.

How am I supposed to ask for help if I'm not allowed to do so on the forum?

We certainly do not delete posts of our users. Maybe you didn't submit your question properly.
Nevertheless, we are here to help :)
Which type of connection do you have?
From the attached file i am guessing that you have you RP directly connected to the PC.
For downloading instruments from Bazaar
your Red Pitaya and your PC must be connected to the Internet.
This type of connection is described in the most left column on this page:

My post was there for about 30 minutes before it disappeared. I even posted a reply to it with additional information.

My Red Pitaya is connected to the Internet. I posted this previously:

Protocol error while connecting to Bazaar server.

I now downloaded the ecosystem and basic applications from http://archives.redpitaya.com/devel/ as I still can't get this to work with the "market place".

However I can't find the app for the LCR meter anywhere which is the only functionality I need right now. Where can I download this?

Hello, Downloading the ecosystem (SD image) is available on website redpitaya.com in the navigation bar Download> SDImage.

Loading application from bazzar is possible if Pitaya is connected to the internet (

ping google.com
).
Also try to

Code: Select all

ping bazaar.redpitaya.com
. There is possibility that the network may be blocking the connection.

Using "Get more applications" on your Pitaya should get you to the page for downloading the applications.

There is an alternative:
1. SSH to your red pitaya. (use putty or ssh tool in terminal, serial connection will also do)
2. enable writing to the file system

wget [LINK TO APPLICATION.zip]
5. check which zip files have been downloaded with:

unzip APPLICATION.zip
7. applications should be installed

Again, if Red Pitaya does not have internet connection downloading is not possible. Also check the configuration on your private network.

Be careful to select the latest date of application!
Be careful - folder names matching to applications unziped will rewrite existing folders

Well it auto-magically worked today... so maybe there was some problem with the bazaar server?
